Lybin, Dmitry (b. June 27, 1963, Minsk). Belarusian composer of orchestral, chamber, choral, vocal, piano, and organ works that have been performed throughout Europe and elsewhere.
He co-founded with Sergey Beltiukov, Galina Gorelova, Vyacheslav Kuznetsov, Yevgeny Poplavsky, and others the Belarusian Society for Contemporary Music in 1990. He has served as its permanent secretary since 1991 and as its chairman in 2001-2007. He has taught orchestration and score reading at the Belarusian Academy of Music in Minsk.
